Senior Resident Anatomy

Position Summary:

The Department of Anatomy at [University/Institution Name] is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual for the position of Senior Resident in Anatomy. Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Education:

• Assist in the instruction of undergraduate and medical students in anatomy through lectures, laboratories, and practical sessions.
• Mentor and guide junior residents and students in their educational activities and research projects.
• Develop and contribute to educational materials, including lectures, lab manuals, and online resources.
• Evaluate and assess student performance, providing feedback and support to facilitate their learning.

Research:

• Conduct original research in anatomy, contributing to the department’s research agenda.
• Assist in the design and execution of research projects, including data collection and analysis.
• Prepare and present research findings at departmental meetings, conferences, and in peer-reviewed journals.
• Seek and apply for research grants and funding opportunities.

Clinical and Laboratory Duties:

• Participate in the preparation and maintenance of anatomical specimens and teaching materials.
• Oversee the operation of anatomy laboratories, ensuring compliance with safety and ethical standards.
• Provide support for dissection and other anatomical studies as required.

Administrative and Service Responsibilities:

• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with the organization and coordination of departmental events, workshops, and seminars.
• Engage in community outreach and educational activities to promote the department and its programs.
• Contribute to the administrative tasks associated with the residency program.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Medical degree MBBS + MS/MD, DO) or equivalent with a focus on anatomy or a related field.
