Job Summary:

The Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership in clinical care, research, and education within the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching:
  • Develop and deliver high-quality educational programs in Obstetrics and Gynecology for medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Mentor and supervise medical students, residents, fellows, and junior faculty.
  • Participate in curriculum development and assessment.
  • Engage in continuing medical education activities and faculty development programs.
• Research:
  • Conduct and publish original research in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Secure extramural funding through grants and research proposals.
  • Collaborate with other departments and institutions on multidisciplinary research projects.
  • Supervise and mentor students, residents, and fellows in research activities.
• Clinical Practice:
  • Provide expert clinical care in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, inpatient and outpatient services, and surgical procedures as needed.
  • Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department and affiliated hospitals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Service:
  • Serve on departmental, college, and university committees.
  • Participate in national and international professional organizations related to Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

• MBBS, MS/MD, DGO, or equivalent degree with board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
