Research:

• Conduct and direct an active and high-impact research program in anatomy, advancing knowledge and contributing to the field through original research.
• Secure substantial external funding through grants and other sources to support research initiatives.
• Publish research findings in top-tier peer-reviewed journals and present at major national and international conferences.
• Foster interdisciplinary research collaborations and contribute to the department’s and institution’s research goals and priorities.

Service and Leadership:

• Provide leadership within the department, contributing to strategic planning, policy development, and departmental governance.
• Serve on departmental, college, and university committees, and engage in activities that support the institution’s mission and strategic objectives.
• Represent the department and institution in professional organizations and academic societies, enhancing the department’s visibility and reputation.
• Promote community outreach and public engagement activities that highlight the department’s research and educational contributions.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• MBBS, MS/MD, or equivalent degree in Anatomy or a closely related field.
• Significant record of research accomplishments, including a strong portfolio of publications, successful grant funding, and leadership in research initiatives.
