Associate Professor Radiology

Job Summary:

The Associate Professor of Radiology will be responsible for teaching, research, and clinical service within the Department of Radiology. This position involves providing high-quality education to medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as contributing to the advancement of the field through research and clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching:
  • Deliver lectures, seminars, and hands-on training in radiology to undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Supervise and mentor residents and fellows in clinical and research settings.
  • Develop and assess curriculum to enhance the educational experience in radiology.
• Clinical Practice:
  • Provide diagnostic imaging services, interpreting imaging studies and communicating results to referring clinicians.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and conferences.
  • Maintain a high standard of patient care in the clinical setting.
• Research:
  • Conduct independent and collaborative research in radiology, focusing on innovative imaging techniques and applications.
  • Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at national and international conferences.
  • Seek funding opportunities to support research initiatives.
• Service:
  • Participate in departmental and institutional committees and initiatives.
  • Contribute to the advancement of the department’s goals and objectives.
  • Engage in community outreach and education related to radiology.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Medical degree (MBBS + MS/MD) with completion of a residency in radiology.
  • Fellowship training in a subspecialty of radiology is preferred.
