Associate Professor ENT

Job Summary:

The Associate Professor of ENT will contribute to the education, clinical practice, and research initiatives within the Department of Otolaryngology. This role involves teaching medical students and residents, providing expert patient care, and conducting impactful research in the field of otolaryngology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and Education:
  • Deliver lectures, seminars, and hands-on training in ENT to medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Mentor and supervise residents and fellows in clinical practice and research projects.
  • Develop and assess educational programs and materials to enhance the training experience in otolaryngology.
• Clinical Practice:
  • Provide comprehensive otolaryngological care, including diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of ear, nose, and throat conditions.
  • Perform surgical and non-surgical interventions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Research:
  • Engage in and lead research initiatives focused on advancements in ENT, including clinical outcomes, treatment modalities, and health services research.
  • Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at relevant conferences.
  • Seek funding and grant opportunities to support ongoing research efforts.
• Service and Leadership:
  • Participate in departmental committees and contribute to the strategic planning and development of the department.
  • Engage in community outreach and education related to ENT health and treatments.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance interdisciplinary research and clinical initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Medical degree (MBBS + MS/MD) with completion of a residency in otolaryngology.
  • Fellowship training in a subspecialty of otolaryngology is preferred.
