Assistant Professor Pharmacology

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Professor of Pharmacology to join our faculty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, engaging in impactful research, and contributing to academic and administrative responsibilities within the department. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in pharmacology with a passion for teaching and research.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Mentorship:

• Deliver undergraduate and/or postgraduate lectures in pharmacology and related disciplines.
• Prepare and update course materials, syllabi, and laboratory manuals.
• Supervise student projects, research dissertations, and thesis work.
• Participate in academic advising and mentoring of students.

Research:

• Conduct original research in pharmacology or related fields.
• Publish in peer-reviewed journals and present at academic conferences.
• Seek external research funding and grants.
• Collaborate with internal and external researchers for interdisciplinary projects.

Service & Administration:

• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and academic planning.
• Serve on academic and administrative committees.
• Contribute to community outreach and professional development activities.
• Maintain compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

Essential:

• MBBS, MD in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to teach and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Record of research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
