Assistant Professor Pharmacology

Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Seek and secure external funding through grants and other sources to support research activities.
• Publish research findings in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals and present at national and international conferences.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary research projects and contribute to departmental and institutional research goals.

Service and Leadership:

• Participate in departmental, college, and university committees and service activities.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and strategic plans.
• Represent the department and institution in professional organizations and academic societies, enhancing the department’s visibility and reputation.
• Engage in community outreach and public engagement activities that highlight the department’s research and educational programs.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• MBBS, MS/MD, or equivalent advanced degree in Pharmacology or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in pharmacology with a strong record of research accomplishments, including publications and successful grant funding.
