Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching:
  • Deliver lectures, seminars, and clinical instruction to medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching methods and curricula.
  • Mentor students in their academic and clinical pursuits.
• Research:
  • Conduct independent and collaborative research in areas relevant to general medicine.
  • Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Seek and secure extramural funding for research projects.
• Clinical Care:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the field of general medicine.
  • Supervise and mentor residents and fellows during clinical rotations.
  • Participate in departmental clinical activities, including inpatient and outpatient care.
• Service:
  • Participate in departmental, college, and university committees.
  • Contribute to the academic community through service and leadership roles.
  • Engage in professional development activities to stay current in the field.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in General Medicine or a related specialty.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and clinical care.
